FIRST IMPRESSIONS

f

To make a good, and lasting, first impression, always focus on other people; do not strive to make yourself the centre of attention. Listen carefully and make direct eye contact. Speak clearly, and respond immediately to what is being said. Ask questions, and listen to the answers. Try hard to remember the name of the person you have been introduced to, and use it at least once (overuse can look smarmy).
