Exchanging business cards is common practice for business introductions and even some social ones. However, it is not seen as essential in this country and if you offer your card you should not necessarily expect one in return.
The standard business card is about the same size as a credit card. Your full name and usually your job title should be printed on it. Qualifications after your name may be added (leave off university degrees), but titles before the name are not usually included. Contact details such as phone numbers, fax number, email address and postal address should also appear.
