Debrett’s Expertise

In May of 2016, Debrett’s led a day-long workshop with the Hospitality and Marketing team of an EPL Club to help them gain confidence in hosting domestic and overseas VIP guests.

Video training was incorporated so that each attendee had individual feedback and an understanding of how body language, gestures, pace of speaking and tone of voice could be interpreted by a Club guest.

In addition, scenarios specific to each individual’s roles were enacted so that each attendee could practise a challenging but typical situation.  This included correct forms of address and introductions between guests from different cultures, difficult and demanding guests, and working effectively as a team.
