Impact For Women Programme

Spread the word – become an etiquette coach

With our work to promote professional and social confidence becoming ever more in demand, we need tutors to join us and help spread the word by teaching our programmes under licence all around the world.

Gain the depth of knowledge that you need to be able to deliver our programmes with flair and confidence by undertaking our intensive ‘Train the Trainer’ course run by our senior tutors. We will deliver the programme in London (or elsewhere by arrangement). Once you have successfully completed the programme, we will provide regular course updates and online support from our tutors.

All training materials, tutor notes and hard and soft copies of our course handbooks are included in the programme. Our certified trainers will teach our programmes under licence and they will be authorised to use our branding and logos to promote the programme.

About our Experts

Our expert coaches have varied experience and expertise, which we match personally to the needs and expectations of our clients. The Debrett’s Academy is led by Rupert Wesson, a specialist in communications, leadership and learning and development.

Rupert Wesson


Rupert began his career after graduating from Loughborough University. He was commissioned as an officer in the British Army, serving on operations including Bosnia, Sierra Leone and Iraq. For the past ten years, he has worked as a qualified coach, specialising in public speaking and communications, leadership and management, organisational change, sales, client relationships and international business skills. He is also qualified by the British Psychological Society and uses psychometric tests and emotional intelligence assessments to help coach and develop people.

Katherine Lewis


A graduate of St Catherine’s College, Oxford, in Human Science, with a master’s degree in Social Psychology and Performance Theory, Katherine specialises in the science behind human behavior and the psychology of social interaction. She began her career as an actress appearing in TV and stage productions and she now combines her skills as an actress with her scientific learning knowledge to help clients handle nerves, deal with stressful situations and develop effective communication skills, Katherine enables our clients to be more confident in their everyday lives.

Victoria Ball


Victoria graduated from Cambridge University with a Master of Arts in Middle Eastern Studies with Social Anthropology. She specializes in interpersonal relations and emotional intelligence as well as cross-cultural communication. She has studied French, Spanish, Latin, Greek, German, Arabic, Italian and she also speaks a little Chinese. With experience in various corporate industries, she is equally at ease with private and corporate clients. She is now studying for an MA in Conflict Resolution at Kings College London.

Sammy Gao


Sammy was born in China and completed his education in UK and Europe culminating with a BSc in Economics from The London School of Economics and an MSc in Marketing and Creativity from ESCP. Sammy has worked on a number of business development, strategy and cross-communication projects in luxury retail, FMCG and wine across China and Europe. At Debrett’s, Sammy predominantly contributes to the development and delivery of China-related projects, as well as youth development programmes.

Olly Walker


Having studied Spanish and linguistics at the University of Manchester, Olly worked in the financial industry, retail and the charity sector before moving into the world of luxury brands. A specialist in relationship management and client acquisition, his ability to build and maintain rapport lends both first-hand experience and credibility to programme delivery. He also has extensive experience in leading a number of the hugely successful youth programmes which focus on developing confidence and social skills.
