Something Different

Unusual Ideas.jpgCouples whose homes are well equipped often decide to go for something a bit different. Unusual wedding lists must be properly explained and managed so that guests feel like they are contributing more than just a cheque.

So, with some research, planning and good communcation between the couple and guests, modern wedding lists can be tailored to the bride and groom's exact ideas and wishes.

Wine: start a cellar by setting up a list with a wine merchant.

Garden: garden 'make over' companies and garden centres nationwide offer a wedding list options.

Antiques: specialised dealers will assist the bride and groom, and guests, on investing in a piece of history.

Tableware: replace glassware, china or crockery as top leading producers offer wedding lists.

Art: research companies who take donations towards a piece of bespoke artwork commissioned by the bride and groom.

Extend and improve: ask for donations towards a special building project, such as an extension, loft conversion or a new kitchen.

Lifelong ambition: for something really unusual, ask for donations towards a lifelong dream. For example, chartering a yacht, taking flying lessons or climbing a mountain.
