Traditionally, wedding guests contacted the bride's mother to find out where the gift list is held.

Nowadays most couples include details of the wedding list in the information pack that is sent with the invitations.

Many wedding list companies will give the couple special inserts to include that provides all the information that guests need, e.g. company name, list number, website, telephone number.

Alternatively, details can be sent out after acceptances arrive. This may not be practical, however, as many guests who are unable to attend still like to give a present. It can also be costly with postage.
