This five-day literature festival is held each November in the picturesque Suffolk seaside town of Southwold. Though relatively small in comparison to other literature festivals, this event is nevertheless a star-studded affair that attracts the top names from the worlds of fiction and non-fiction writing.  

Besides imbibing the literary atmosphere, festival goers can be blown on the beach beside the rough winter sea, buy fresh fish from the harbour, visit the impressive St. Edmund's church or walk along the pier.

The programme for the 2013 Way With Words Southwold Festival will be available on the website in August.
