Millennium Stadium, Cardiff, Wales

Wales meet their French rivals in a Super Saturday afternoon
thriller at the Millennium Stadium, at 2.45pm.
The state-of-the-art Millennium Stadium opened in June 1999. It
has the first retractable roof in the UK, making it a
multi-purpose, all-season venue, with a seating capacity of 74,500.
As well as the RBS Six Nations and the Rubgy World Cup it has
hosted six FA Cup Finals, as well as numerous concerts.
The Millennium Stadium is located on Westgate Street in Cardiff,
next to Cardiff Arms park, the historic home of the Cardiff RFC and
the Cardiff Blues.
The Stadium, with its central location, is an ideal springboard
for exploring the city. Nearby Cardiff Castle presides over the
city and the recently regenerated Cardiff Bay offers some stunning
architecture and cultural events. Drive inland to Cowbridge, in the
Vale of Glamorgan. This historic town boasts 14th-century walls and
a physic garden. Visit the nearby countryside village of St Hillary
to see the impressive ruins of Beaupre Castle.
