On Tour: Debrett's New Season
From Glyndebourne to Glastonbury - A social calendar for the 21st century
04 February, 2012
Murrayfield, Edinburgh, Scotland

English fans will flood the streets of Edinburgh when their team meets their Scottish rivals at 5 pm on Saturday 4 February.
Murrayfield is the largest rugby stadium in Scotland, with a seating capacity of just over 67,000. It is the home of the Scottish Rugby Union. It has a history dating back to 1925, only interrupted during the Second World War when the ground was requisitioned as a supply depot. It is situated in the west of Edinburgh, just off Corstorphine Road.
When the rugby excitement is over, you can explore Edinburgh Castle, or try a drive to Hopetoun House for some stately Georgian majesty. Admire the impressive collections of contemporary art at the Modern Art Galleries, set in extensive parkland that also serves as a sculpture park.
