From Glyndebourne to Glastonbury - A social calendar for the 21st century

The country's biggest two-day agricultural show is held at the
Norfolk Showground near Norwich in late June, and includes sheep
shows with shearing displays, and farriery demonstrations.
There is a full range of prize schedules for all classes of
livestock and horses. Trade stands display agricultural equipment,
machinery and services, as well as showcasing the work of
environmental groups, local charities and voluntary groups. There
are many educational exhibits.
There is also a range of foods available in the food hall, and
cookery demonstrations. The Gardeners' Show and the Dog Show are
ever-popular, and there is an impressive array of displays and
demonstrations (for example horse riding, heavy horse handling,
sheep handling).
Children's activities include an inflatable football pitch, Punch
and Judy, and dancing and martial arts displays from local schools
and youth groups,
