On Tour: Debrett's New Season
From Glyndebourne to Glastonbury - A social calendar for the 21st century
09 November, 2013
Doncaster Racecourse, Doncaster

The November Handicap is the last day of the British Flat racing
season. It was first run at Manchester Racecourse in 1876, and
transferred to Doncaster in 1964.
After the race the 2013 flat season is rounded off with
presentations to the Champion Trainer, Champion Owner, Champion
Jockey and Champion Apprentice, sponsored by the Jockeys
Association of Great Britain.
There are also owners and trainers trophies, which are provided by the British Horseracing Authority.
Highlights of each presentation are shown on the big screen and other screens around the course. Once the prizes have been handed out the party begins, with live music and celebrations to mark the end of the season.
