A great opening to the year for beer-lovers everywhere - this CAMRA festival presents a selection of over 300 British and foreign beers, as well as cider and perry.

There is a Champion Winter Beer of Britain award (presented for three categories, strong milds, old ales, stouts plus porters).

Beer is dispensed in third of a pint measures - ideal for tasting, without going over your drink limits (and beware, some of the beers are exceptionally strong, with as much as 8.5% alcohol).

There's entertainment (live music) on offer and food available on-site. Families are encouraged to visit the festival on the Saturday, when a special Family Area is provided.
