On Tour: Debrett's New Season
From Glyndebourne to Glastonbury - A social calendar for the 21st century
18 July, 2013 - 21 July, 2013
Henham Park, Southwold, Suffolk

This is the sixth year of this intimate festival, which isn't
just about music, but the full spectrum of art, with individual
arenas dedicated to cabaret, comedy, literature, theatre and
poetry. There are four stages: The Obelisk Arena, The Uncut Arena,
The Sunrise Arena, and the Lake Stage.
Latitude takes place in the grounds of the historic Henham Park
Estate in Suffolk, which is near the picturesque seaside towns of
Aldeburgh and Southwold. Henham has been in the Rous family line
since 1544.
Henham provides a stunning backdrop to the Festival, with
fairy-lit enclaves in the woods, boating on the lakes, and the
famous brightly coloured festival sheep (dyed in the wool) in the
fields.
The capacity is limited to 30,000, and many people come to
Latitude who would not normally venture on the festival circuit -
they are attracted by its intimacy, eclectic programme, and
family-friendly atmosphere.
The line-up for 2013 is yet to be announced.
