Italy vs France

Rome hosts a continental contest between Italy and France at 15:00 pm on Sunday 3 February.

The Stadio Flaminio lies along the Via Flaminia, 3 kilometres northwest of the city centre; 300m away from the Pano di Villa Glori.

With a capacity of just 30,000, it is the smallest of the stadiums used in the Six Nations tournament. Nevertheless it is still a great place to watch rugby; the simple single-tier stadium creates an intimate atmosphere and the tree-lined hills that surround the stadium make for a striking background.

France inflicted a 30-12 defeat on the Italians in 2012 as the Italians, resilient as they were, struggled to break through the French defence.
