Billed as the best spring flower show in Europe, this Harrogate flower show is the opening event of the spring and summer gardening season.

It is famous for its daffodil show and Early Season Tulip Show, and provides a showcase for some of the country's top designers. Nurseries from all over the country compete for the coveted Premier Award and the NEHS Trophy for Best-In-Show.

There is a Floristry and Flower Arranging marquee, with magnificent displays of the flower-arranger's art and, if you are inspired, plenty of opportunity to buy gardening accessories, rural arts and crafts, and fine country foods.
