On Tour: Debrett's New Season
From Glyndebourne to Glastonbury - A social calendar for the 21st century
15 July, 2013 - 28 July, 2013
Ireland

Artists and audiences from all over the world descend on this
beautiful western Irish town for the very best of Irish and
international art.
The Galway Arts Festival features theatre, dance, music, comedy,
street theatre, children's events and visual arts. It is spread
over a range of locations and there is also a popular Festival Big
Top, launched in 2008.
Galway is famous for being a festival on a manageable, human
scale. The networks of picturesque alleyways down on the quayside
are bustling and vibrant during the festival days, and there are
over 250 shows to choose from, but it is not a city which feels
overwhelmed by the culture on offer.
The 2012 festival featured over 400 artists, writers, performers and musicians from Ireland, England, Scotland, France, Germany, Spain, Serbia, Singapore, Canada and the USA.
Programme details for 2013 are yet to be announced.
