England vs. New Zealand, Lord's
16 May, 2013 - 20 May, 2013
Lord’s Cricket Ground
New Zealand arrive for the start of what is set to be a very exciting summer in English cricket.
'The Home of Cricket', Lord's in north London was founded in 1787 and is owned by the influential Marylebone Cricket Club.
Lord's prides itself on being the guardian of the Laws of Cricket, and the world's oldest sporting museum is to be found here, as well as stunning architecture, both traditional (the Victorian Pavilion) and modern (the futuristic pod of the Media Centre), plus a well-known weather vane in the shape of Father Time.
Good views over the famously sloping field are found in the upper tiers of the Grand and the Mound Stands, although these are debentures and hence not readily available to the public; next best are Grand Stand seats.
