On Tour: Debrett's New Season
From Glyndebourne to Glastonbury - A social calendar for the 21st century
24 August, 2013 - 25 August, 2013
Runnymede, Surrey

Held over two days in late August, close to Runnymede about 40
minutes west of London, this show is over 150 years old.
Originally founded to encourage local farmers and labourers in
their work, the Show has moved into the 21st century, and offers a
range of activities for visitors. One of its main features is a
giant horticultural marquee - the site of hotly-contested floral
competitions. There is also a crafts marquee, a children's activity
tent and Punch and Judy shows.
In the arena visitors can enjoy steam and traction engines, a
vintage car display, martial arts demonstrations, and the ever
popular dog show.
