Newbury Racecourse, Berkshire

This is the first event of the flat-racing season at Newbury. A number of Classic trials are staged over the two days. The highlight of the Friday is the Dubai Duty Free Rated Stakes, while on Saturday racegoers eagerly await the Dubai Duty Free Fred Darling Stakes.

The first race at Newbury took place in 1905. Home to many prestigious events, it is set in picturesque countryside, and easily accessible from the M4. It boasts a state-of-the-art grandstand, designed by Lord Foster, and the Hampshire stand has been newly refurbished.

The dates for the 2013 events have now been confirmed.
