From Glyndebourne to Glastonbury - A social calendar for the 21st century
BNP Paribas Tennis Classic
18 June, 2013 - 22 June, 2013
Hurlingham Club, Fulham, London
A quintessentially English summer day out, the annual BNP Paribas tennis event sees major tennis stars competing on the magnificent grass courts of the Hurlingham Club.
Stars from the ATP Tour play a series of exhibition matches in the run-up to Wimbledon. In 2012, Tomas Berdych, Andy Roddick, Lleyton Hewitt, David Ferrer were among the names who enthralled the crowds in a series of singles exhibition matches.
Each day there are three matches on the centre court, and the proximity of the grandstand makes for a uniquely intimate and exciting viewing experience.
Audiences can enjoy the luxurious setting, and indulge in traditional English summer treats, such as champagne and strawberries and cream.
The Hurlingham Club lies on the banks of the Thames in Fulham, and is set in 40 acres of grounds, surrounding an elegant Georgian clubhouse. It boasts 40 tennis courts, bowling greens and croquet lawns, as well as swimming pools, squash and gym facilities.
