On Tour: Debrett's New Season
From Glyndebourne to Glastonbury - A social calendar for the 21st century
08 December, 2012 - 06 January, 2013
Antwerp, Belgium

The Cathedral of Our Lady is the tallest Gothic church in Europe, and the Grote Markt to its west forms a picturesque setting for this Belgian city's annual Christmas market.
There are approximately 40 wooden chalets around the Bourse (Stock Exchange), Place Sainte Catherine and the Marché aux Poissons, selling an array of crafts, decorations and gourmet treats.
Other attractions include a 200-ft-long skating rink in the Marché aux Poissons Square, which stays open into the first week in January. Street entertainers, choirs and bands all add to the festive atmosphere.
Antwerp is a key player in the world diamond trade - head for the Diamant tram station where the diamond district boasts some 2,500 diamond companies and shops.
