Brecon Jazz Festival
The lovely scenery of the Brecon Beacons National Park forms a fitting backdrop for one of the world's foremost jazz festivals.
Established 29 years ago, this is the first year that the Festival will be under new management, and 2012 is being treated as an interim year.
Tthe Brecon Jazz Festival has long attracted some of the best international talent in the field and an audience of up to 70,000 to an idyllic setting in a pretty Welsh market town.
There is a street entertainment and free music on the streets of the town throughout the weekend.
Jazz highlights in 2013 include Courtney Pine, Django Bates, Jools Holland, Zoe Rahman, Phronesis, Julian Siegel, Jason Rebello and Acker Bilk.
