To be an Ordinary Member of the Third Class, or Companion, of the said Most Distinguished Order:

Rene Mercedes, Mrs. Baptiste. For services to the law,
international finance, culture and politics.

Order of the British Empire (Civil Division)

The QUEEN has been graciously pleased, on the advice of Her Majesty's Barbados Ministers, to give orders for the following appointments to the Most Excellent Order of the British Empire:

To be Ordinary Officers of the Civil Division of the said Most Excellent Order:

Pastor Dermoth Cosmore Baptiste. For services to the Christian fellowship and to the community.
