Safe Dating

It is important to keep your wits about you and stay safe while you're having fun.
Playfulness can be confused with sexual desire so keep extreme flirting for tried and tested subjects.
Be careful of overindulging. Drunkeness can be a dangerous thing.
When going on a date, tell someone (friend, flatmate, parent) where you are going and who you are meeting.
If the location of the date changes, or if it gets late and you move on somewhere else, text someone to let them know where you are.
Never accept drinks from strangers. When being bought a drink, try to see your drinks being poured out at the bar.
Go armed with a few taxi numbers to make sure you can get home. Never use illegal cabs or get in a car with someone you feel uncomfortable with. Never drink and drive or get in a car with someone who's been drinking.
It is sensible to carry a personal alarm.
