Asking Someone Out

When asking someone out on a date, you can do it face-to-face, by phone, text or email. Remember that if you are doing the inviting it is up to you to make the arrangements. This involves taking care of the booking and instructions (venue, time, back-up plans).

For a first date drinks are probably the best option, as you will not be obliged to spend the whole evening together. If things do go really well you can always have dinner as well.

After a couple of evening dates, try a day date (art gallery, picnic) or an activity date (golf lessons, ice-skating) to check you get along without low-lighting and a bottle of wine.
