Never bicker or argue in public. Remember, the louder and longer it goes on, the more foolish you'll look.

Restrain public displays of affection. Public cooing and snogging will alienate others, whereas holding hands and a quick peck are acceptable for most people.

Keep in touch with your own friends and don't always turn up together.
